Florence and Tuscany

Why Florence? There is not only a reason, but thousand of them. Thinking of Florence means thinking of art and history: Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, the Vasarian Corridor and Palazzo Pitti; thinking of the centre of the Renaissance world and of the gorgeous traces left by Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Donatello and Leonardo; thinking of the Guelphs and the Ghibellines, of the political passions, of Dante Alighieri and Macchiavelli.

And if your favourite sport is shopping, you won't be able to resist the call of the Goldsmith shops, the windows of the big fashion names in the smart centre streets, the witty and popular atmosphere breathed between the benches of San Lorenzo's market, famous overall for the handmade leather accessories.
Gastronomy is your passion? You will find trendy restaurants able to satisfy the most refined tastes as well as more informal places, where to taste the typical "fiorentina" steak along with some good Chianti wine.
Starting from Florence, you will also be able to visit the Tuscan countryside and some beautiful towns such as Pisa, Lucca, Siena and San Gimignano. Really a destination not to be missed!
